2010 QuakerMan Triathlon

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EVENT!  WE HAD RECORD NUMBERS THIS YEAR AND LOOK FORWARD TO A GREAT EVENT NEXT YEAR AS WELL.

Special Thanks going out to The Orchard Park Recreation Dept, 17 Orchard Park Rec lifeguards,  The 11 Buffalo Underwater Recovering Team members, Bishop Timon High School, Orchard Park Police, special thanks to Chief Andy Benz,  Hamburg Police Dept, and all of our over 70 volunteers that came out to make this a fun and fulfilling event.

Welcome to the fourth annual QuakerMan Triathlon June 26 2011.  Located in Yates Park of Historic Orchard Park, NY. The Triathlon will feature a beach entrance 600 meter swim in Green Lake. Duathlete's will simultaneously start off on a 2 mile run.

A fun, yet challenging 22 mile (two loops) bike course awaits throughout Orchard Park.

This will be followed by a four mile run through the Green Lake development. This development was built in the 1950's, additional areas built in the 70's & 80's. This run course will provide much tree lined shade for Triathletes on the last leg of there race.

Chip-timing technology will be provided by ChipTime Results.

Due to the overwhelming success of last year's race, we will be closing registration this year at 600 participants.  TRIWNY.com is currently building more bike rack's for 2010 as to not leave any participants home on the couch. Get up! Sign up! Start training today!

Packet Pick-Up is available at Sponsor Locations:  Friday,  at Bert's Bike & Sports - 4050 Southwestern Blvd. Orchard Park, NY from 4 - 6 P.M.  Saturday,  at Runner's Roost - 4190 North Buffalo Road from 12 - 2 P.M.  Day of registration will be held at Green Lake Recreation Dept from 6 AM until 7:30 AM.

All participants need to show photo ID and USAT card, if an annual member, at packet pick-up.  Only the participant can pick up his or her number, per USAT rules.

Cappelli's Pizzeria and Catering located in Orchard Park, will be providing post event meals consisting of Baked Breaded Chicken Breast, potato salad, macaroni salad, and a few other trimmings.
